We saw Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring" in its original 1913 riot-causing staging by Diaghelev. This is the Auditorium Theater, designed by Louis Sullivan and first used for the 1888 Republican National Convention. The Grateful Dead and Eric Clapton also performed here. One of my favorite designs by my favorite architect.
